Information and site features

We do not use site analytics or behavioral advertising scripts in this website. Search queries filter the glossary in your browser and are not submitted to a search service. There is no account registration, checkout, or contact form.

The optional Replace Image feature reads an image you choose and stores it in your browser under the key bariatric_custom_images. It does not upload that image to our server. Do not select sensitive medical or personal images on a shared device. Reset All Images removes this saved data; browser site-data settings also let you clear it.

Requests to other providers

Hosting and security providers, including Cloudways and Cloudflare, may process IP addresses, request details, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Google Fonts supplies typography and Unsplash supplies reference photographs; loading these resources sends technical request information to those providers. Their retention and processing are governed by their policies.

If you contact us by email, your message and address are handled to respond. Please do not send medical records or urgent care requests. This website cannot provide clinical care.
